Casa Segunda — Elegant Eastside Retreat Near Canyon Road

Welcome to Casa Segunda, an elegant two-bedroom Santa Fe retreat located within the exclusive Plaza Chamisal compound. Combining sophisticated Southwestern style, comfortable indoor-outdoor living, and an exceptional Historic Eastside location, this approximately 1,400-square-foot home is ideal for couples, friends, or a small family looking to experience Santa Fe from the heart of the city.

Casa Segunda is just two blocks from renowned Canyon Road and steps from neighborhood favorites including Downtown Subscription coffee shop and Garcia Street Books. With the historic Santa Fe Plaza approximately four blocks away and Canyon Road just three blocks from the home, guests can easily explore the city’s celebrated galleries, restaurants, shops, cultural attractions, and historic landmarks on foot.

The spacious primary suite is designed as a relaxing private retreat. It features a king-size bed, traditional kiva fireplace, and generous en-suite bathroom complete with a jetted tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, dual sinks, and walk-in closet.

The guest bedroom is equally inviting and offers two twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed upon request, providing flexibility for different groups. This bedroom also features its own kiva fireplace and en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub, separate stand-up shower, and dual sinks.

Between the two bedrooms is a dedicated workspace, providing a convenient spot to catch up on emails or take care of work during your stay. High-speed internet access keeps you connected, and fax capabilities are also available.

Designed by local interior designers Jeff Fenton and Chris Martinez, Casa Segunda showcases a chic interpretation of classic Santa Fe style. The open-concept gourmet kitchen, dining area, and living room flow naturally together, creating an inviting central space for preparing meals, gathering with friends and family, or simply relaxing at home.

Outdoor living is another highlight of Casa Segunda. A covered portal extends the living space outdoors and features its own kiva fireplace along with comfortable seating and dining areas. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee, an al fresco meal, or a quiet evening beside the fire, the portal provides a wonderful setting for experiencing Santa Fe’s beautiful high-desert climate.

Modern conveniences include air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and a Smart TV with streaming options including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube. One off-street parking space is also provided.

Traveling with a larger group? Additional residences in the nearby Acequia Compound, including Casa de Madre and Casa de Portal, are also available for rent and can provide additional accommodations for guests who would like to stay close to one another.

Pets are welcome with prior homeowner approval. A $350 pet fee per stay applies.

When at the last second (only two days before) our friends mentioned that they had always wanted to catch the aspen trees turning in the mountains above Santa Fe I knew exactly who to call . My past experience with Casas de Sant Fe had been perfect and I called them immediately . Nicholas listened and within a couple hours had found as the beautiful property , Casa Segunda . I highly recommend Nicholas and the team at Casas de Santa Fe .

Such a beautiful casa & compound area, great location for walking to Canyon Rd & the Plaza. Would definitely rent this property again.
All personnel were efficient, helpful, & friendly. All are able to handle inquiries & transactions, so if 1 member is not available - another can step in & easily take over.
