We were all awestruck the moment we walked in the door! The photos were amazing and the house itself was even better. From the special welcoming touches and just being in what is obviously someone's well loved home, we felt at home and cocooned right away. All amenities you could imagine were there and more, it was an easy drive into town, and once the weather cleared we saw the amazing views ( and watched the sunset over the mountains.) This was the perfect place to spend time with my grown up daughters who came from Australia for their first white xmas. Highly recommend for a groups of 4 couples or for a girly weekend. thank you so much Cathy and Chris for allowing us access to your beautiful home.

The first thing to say about this rental is 'Wow!' It was great. Six of us stayed for a week over Christmas. The house is beautiful, scrupulously clean, very well equipped and warm (outside it got down to 10F). On our third day the heating actually failed, but even though they were out of town Cathy and Chris got it fixed within a few hours, before the house even cooled down, which was awesome. There's a big book and movie collection available to guests, and the wifi is fast. The location is on the edge of Santa Fe, but with a car no problem at all. The views are just amazing - on most days we could see Mount Taylor (100 miles away) and spectacular sunsets. Downtown Santa Fe has lots of convenient parking, as soon as you figure out where it is. The price is very reasonable, for what you get. We would stay here again and have no problem recommending this rental.

The previous reviews have pretty much said everything there is to say about this home, and I agree with them completely, but I would like to add a few thoughts. You will be absolutely stunned by the beauty of this adobe home. As others said before me, the amenities, luxury, comfort and space are unbelievable. But you will also appreciate the beauty, serenity, tranquility and calmness of the grounds as well, including the unique tipi. The koi pond and wind chimes only add to the aesthetics of the natural surroundings. If you are so inclined, it's a great place to walk, meditate, contemplate or just be. This home is a great, convenient location for any sightseeing, shopping, gallery browsing, hiking (the Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument is 35 miles south of Santa Fe and is well worth the drive and should not be missed!), or other activity you might want to do, but trust me, at the end of the day you will want to return here to relax and savor the home's ambience. And the hosts? They are wonderful. Our family group was there for 5 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. Cathy called me Thursday afternoon to see if things were going okay as far as our fixing Thanksgiving dinner was concerned. Their kitchen is beyond comparison when it comes to having the necessary dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans or appliances you could possibly want or need. Needless to say, preparing dinner in that environment was an absolute joy! If you have any problems, questions or concerns at all, don't hesitate to call Cathy or Chris. They want to hear from you and will be more than happy to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hosts being that readily accessible, responsive and easy to talk to is so reassuring. This luxurious adobe home is a place to not only stay at and visit; it is a place to experience. Oftentimes when you've been some place, once is enough. However, with Casa Que Pasa, if given the opportunity, my family and I would return here again and again-it's that perfect.

Loved it. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home. We loved the art, the memorabilia, and your thoughtfulness in getting us started on breakfast groceries - that was super helpful after a long day of traveling! Views were spectacular.

Cathy was great to work with and her home is amazing! You can see they took so much time and effort on every little detail in their home, making it a perfect escape. Some friends and I enjoyed four days in Cathy's home and it was such a peaceful and convenient home base for exploring Santa Fe, Taos and the nearby hot springs. I highly recommend you treat yourself to the amazing surroundings both inside and out!

Romantic and beautiful Casa Que Pasa provided our family with a fabulous Santa Fe Experience! It was my 75th comfortably housed - four bedrooms and 3 full baths and a terrific kitchen. This hacienda has everything. So furnishings, interesting art and memorabilia, and the library of books and movies was spectacular! The views as is the luxurious master bath! Our son christened his room The Bob Marley Room for the memorabilia there. Room, and both were extremely comfortable. The 4th bedroom is also the study which opens onto the deck. plush mattress cover which our two grandgirls just loved. Their bathroom was between their room and the utility The very best amenity was the deck. We ate almost all of our meals there except when sampling wonderful Santa family spent an inordinate amount of time on the deck overlooking the valley across to the mountains. We were monsoon season. We were high enough on the mountain to see the storms moving and witnessed beautiful electrical deck which provided additional entertainment for us. We had a few out of the ordinary requests, and Cathy was (The kennel she suggested to house our little Pomeranian during our stay, Country Kennels, was staffed by caring hostess with minute attention to detail for the comfort of her guests. A couple of normal household glitches were maintenance man. A glorious family experience which we would love to repeat!

The terrific experience of staying at Casa Que Pasa started with warm, prompt, and helpful conversations with Cathy. She was responsive and friendly and a pleasure to correspond with. The beautiful adobe that is Casa Que Pasa rests upon a hill off of the hustle and bustle of downtown and is literally within 15 min of easy driving of every main attraction we wanted to visit during our week long trip. This included the Museum Hill, Historic Plaza, Canyon Road, etc.. Convenience and comfort are key when on vacation and Casa Que Pasa delivers both beautifully. The interior of Casa Que Pasa shows off extraordinary taste and flair of our hosts, Cathy and Chris. The space was luxurious, comfortable, and tranquil. My group of 4-7 ( people came in at different times) enjoyed lounging on the back patio taking in the magnificent vistas of the Sandia and Jemez mountains while enjoying the beautiful sound from the fountain in the gorgeous koi pond and the wind chime hung from the patio. The great/common room is artfully designed and offers a state of the art entertainment system completed with amazing surround sound. Watching a thrilling movie sitting in the plush leather sofa in the great room with was quite the experience. Casa Que Pasa's kitchen is truly a gem. It is completed with top of line appliances from appliance giants like thermador, every utensil one can imagine, and a beautiful kitchen island counter top detailed with turquoise. We enjoyed cooking and gathering around the island sharing conversation and company. The bedrooms and bathrooms were refreshing spaces for revival. Linens and bedding's were not only comfortable but thoughtfully put together. Each bedroom was comfortable and had distinct personalities and charm. The master bathroom offered an amazing shower space and a Jacuzzi. Casa Que Pasa is beautiful jewel nestled in gorgeous nature - staying there has been a one-of-a-kind experience. My family and I had a spectacular time. Thank you to Cathy and Chris for the lovely and unforgettable experience!

Wow! What a fantastic week we had at Casa Que Pasa. Cathy and Chris have a fantastic home in the hills of Santa Fe. We initially were thinking we would stay in Santa Fe but the hills beckoned us out of town and all 4 of us are so glad we did. This place is better than we could have imagined. The house is situated just off the road but yet you feel you are in the wilderness. The views are just stunning. Worthy of getting up early to just look out over Santa Fe. We only used the first floor as we didn't really need to use the additional master bedroom but I must say, the views from that room were pretty terrific too. The deck is where we liked to hang out each morning and evening. We did yoga each morning on the patio near the koi pond and decided we'd prefer to dine "in" instead of eating out. The kitchen is simply perfect for those of us who really like to cook. From the instant hot water to the crushed ice! I heartily endorse the comments left by the previous reviewer and add a few exclamation points behind it. Also, to endorse the beds...I have a fabulous bed at home and usually can't wait to sleep in my own bed...these beds are worthy of a great nights sleep. Location...really, Santa Fe is a hop skip and a jump from this house. After spending our days in town, all of us agreed that retreating to this house was just the right mix of sightseeing and just simply enjoying the area from atop a perch as it were. Happy days are ahead for you if you stay here. Top notch! They are working on a tepee on the property. The teepee would be fun to also rent at the same time as the house and send the kids off to their own place. Very cool.

Hosts Cathy and Chris were absolutely terrific! From our first contact to our last, their approach with their visitors is as gracious hosts who care about making your stay comfortable and memorable. For example, they not only went out of their way to pick up some staples (milk, bagels, bread), but were sensitive to some dietary needs in the group (gluten- and lactose-free): what a nice touch! They even welcomed us to the amazing Casa Que Pasa (CQP) with a stylish tote bag full of local goodies, maps and activity guides galore! I traveled with a group of 5 women for an extended weekend getaway. Some friends were a little unsure what to expect. CQP blew them away with its beauty, spaciousness and sumptuous touches. It has gorgeous views of nearby and faraway hills from its verandas, patio with waterfall-koi pond and rooms. Its kitchen is a gourmet's dream, with ample space for cooking, eating and gathering. While we dined at fantastic restaurants in Santa Fe, we also made meals at CQP or enjoyed drinks so we could enjoy the soft breezes and beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the mountains. The care that Cathy and Chris have shown in designing and updating their home is EXTRAORDINARY! The bedrooms offer luxurious comfort and charm, and there are both beautiful and whimsical art pieces throughout the home that add to the joie de vivre that you will find at every turn as a guest at CQP! The wall murals by Prairie Prince are stunning. Even the bathrooms offer spa-like tranquility and luxurious touches, from the deluxe shower jets to the fab lighting and baskets of toiletries you'd find at a 5- star hotel. The common rooms in the home offer everything you could need, including an outstanding stereo system and entertainment/TV center on the main floor, with plush leather seating and cozy spots for unwinding. In fact, most rooms offered TVs, including the soaking tub area for the master bath! They also offer board games and incredible browsing libraries of CDs, DVDs and books. CQP is just a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Santa Fe, while close to Interstate 25 and nearby points of interest. We LOVED being close to everything, while also being away from the bustle of town at such a comfortable oasis of tranquility and beauty. While there, our group of 5 women half-joked that we wish we could have stayed at CQP forever, or at least for a few weeks! We will definitely return to CQP: it's a jewel of an accommodation and a must experience opportunity!!! Of all the accommodations I've experienced in the U.S. and beyond, Casa Que Pasa is by far the BEST. A spectacular home in a beautiful setting, that's unique, warm, inviting, comfortable and unforgettably lovely. A great place where our group now shares great memories. Thank you, Cathy and Chris!
